Abstract
Bioethanol is ethanol that made by biomass containing with sugar components, starch, or cellulose. Bioethanol is usually used to an ingridient for making liquor, for medical purposes, as a solvent, and that are popular today is the use of bioethanol as an altenative fuel. The use of bioethanol as a fuel mixed with gasoline is called gasohol. Bioethanol manufacture of 0,3 M sulfuric acid Hydrolysis during 60 minutes which aims break down starch in to glucose, hydrolysis take place during slurry mixed so the Hydrolysis is complete and in order to navoid lumps. After Hydrolysis followed by Fermentation process using Sacharomyces Cereviceae, anaerobic fermentation. After Fermentation followed by Distillation Process using a Pirolisa Bioethanol, Distilled up to 3 hours/variable, to maximize the ethanol performed Dehydration result with Calcium Oxyde for 1 night. From the Lab work have done, we get the results of ethanol as follows : in the Tank 1A,1B and 1C each Producing Ethanol is 37%, 49%, 59%. While the Tank 2 each respectively 39%, 47%, 61%. Of the Dehydratio process is earned the highest ethanol content in the tank 2C.
