HUMOR IN JALAN PINGGIR CRITICISM COLUMN IN SILATURAHIM RUBRIC SUARA MUHAMMADIYAH MAGAZINE (A PRAGMATIC STUDY)

Abstract

In human life, human beings will not be separated from problems, any time man strives to get trough the problem, ranging from minor problems in life, to the tragedy that changed someone’s life, this thesis tells about a character named Andrew Laeddis is living in his fantasy after a tragedy happens in his life and change everything The purpose of this thesis is to describe how the tragedy changed the attitude and character Laeddis until he create a new identity for himself , and analyzing the psychological disorder caused by bad memories that happen in the past of his life. In analyzing the psychological disorder that happened to Andrew Laeddis, author tried to apply a Sigmund Ferud psychoanalytic theory with using a library research methods, that is done by reading books, articles, or any written and visual documents that related to the topic. The result show that Laeddis suffer from psychological disorder caused by anxiety due to the tragic memory of his past, wich is raised a new personality to relive anxiety
