Abstract
Penentuan konsentrasi optimum Releasing ageni. Phosphate can cause interference to analytical response of magnesium on atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Phosphate ions form stable oxide by thermal with magnesium ion. Phosphate interference can reduce by the addition of HNO3 or HNO3 ' with glycerol. Research of phosphate interference to analytical response of magnesium has been done, treatment of analysis in solution that contain 1.233 ppm of magnesium and phosphate by varying concentration 5.10x10-5, 1.02x104, 1.53x104, 2.04x104, 2.55x10, 5.10x104, 7.65x10-4, 2.00x10-3, 4.00x10-3, 1.20x10-2, 2.00x10-2, 2.80x10-2, 3.60x10-2 M is by using atomic absorption spectrophotometer I at wavelength 285.2 nm. Determination of optimum concentration of Releasing agent HNO3 or HNO3 with glycerol treatment of analysis in solution that contain 1.233 ppm of magnesium, 5.10x103 M phosphate and 1 M of HNO3 by varying volume 2, 4, 6, 8 mL, and also analysis in solution that contain magnesium 1.233 ppm, phosphate 5.10x10-3 M, and HNO3 1 M mixture with gliserol 1 M at comparison of HNO3 and glycerol by varying volume 1:1; 1:3; and 3:1. Result of research shows that 2.80x10-2 M of phosphate gives biggest interference with recovery equal to 2.32 %. The best optimum recovery of magnesium be gotten by the addition of HNO3 4.00x10-1M equal to 100 %.
