Abstract

Telah dilakukan pengaruh asam pendestruksi pada penentuan kadar besi dalam kedelai secara destruksi kering. Destruksi kering dilaksanakan dengan cara mengabukan sampel pada suhu 500 °C selama 3 jam. Abu yang dihasilkan masing¬masing dilarutkan dalam 10 mL HNO3 pekat dan 10 mL, HC1 pekat. Proses pelarutan dipercepat dengan peinanasan hingga pelarutnya menguap dan terbentuk slurry. Slurry yang terbentuk kemudian dilarutkan masing-masing dalam 10 mL HNO3 0,1 M dan HC1 0,1 M. Proses pelarutan dengan asam encer diulang-ulang sarnpai terbentuk larutan jernih. Analisis terhadap kadar besi dilakukan dengan instrumen spektrometri serapan atom nyata (FAAS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar besi dalam pelarut HNO3 sebesar 4,14 ± 0,382 mg/100 gram dan dalam pelarut HC1 sebesar 3,69 ± 0,432 mg/100 gram. Hasil uji statistika dengan rumus perbandingan dua rata-rata; test satu pihak dan tingkat kepercayaan 95 %, menyatakan nilai t hitung sebesar 1,74 , sedangkan nilai t tabel adalah 2,31. Hal ini berarti bahwa jenis asam tidak berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap kadar rata-rata besi dalam kedelai secara destruksi kering. Influence of acid digestion for determination of iron in soy bean by dry ashing has been done. Dry ashing was performed by samples ashing in furnace at 500 °C for 3 hours to yield ash. The ash was dissolved each in 10 mililiters of concentrate HNO3 and 10 mililiters of concentrate HCI. Dissolving process was accelerated by heating in order to condense the solvent and getting the slurry. Then this slurry dissolved in 10 mL HNO3 0,1 M and HC1 0,1 M. This dissolving process is continously until clear solution formed. Determination of iron degree was analysed by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). The experiment results show that the concentrations of Fe in HNO3 and HCI are 4,14 ± 0,382 mg/100 gram and 3,69 ± 0,432 mg/100 gram respectively. From t student's test with the two rates comparation method: one domain test in confident level 95% obtained that t value is 1,74 in yield, while the t value according the tabel is 2,31. It mean that the rate concentration of Fe in soy bean from dry ashing is not affected with the kind of acid digestion .
