Abstract

Elektrolit yang baik adalah sampel elektrolit yang disinter temperatur 1148 K dengan waktu sintering 7 jam, yang memiliki densitas gi 3 Bismuth oxide solid electrolyte with concentration ratio of Bi203 to CaO at 80 : 20 (mole gratuity) was prepared to study the influence of sintering temperature to tee conductivity of the electrolyte. The sintering conducted at temperature range of 107• - 1173 K by interval of 25 K and detention time of 7 and 10 hours. Characterization included phase determination, density, porosity, and con¬duc ivity measurements. X-ray diffraction method used to determine the formed pha es. Density and porosity measured by Archimedes method while conductivity me sured with DC method. It was concluded that the formed phases during sintering were a-Bi203, 8-B.203, 0-Bi203 and Bi14Ca5026. Sintering temperature variation did not give any cle • tendency-pattern on conductivity, sintering for 10 hours caused some samples me ed. The best sample was sintered at 1148 K with 7 hours of detention time has density and porosity respectively to 7,57 gcm-3 and 4,20 %, and conductivity which pro e to be stable at operation temperature 310 330 ° C
