Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh potensial terpasang terhadap berat endapan pada elektrolisis campuran CuSO4 dan CoSO4. Elektrolisis tembaga dan kobalt dilakukan dengan menggunakan beberapa variasi potensial terpasang. Tembaga diendapkan pada potensial terpasang 1,0; 1,2 dan 1,4 volt sedangkan kobalt diendapkan dengan potensial terpasang 1,6; 1,8 dan 2,0 volt. Endapan hasil elektrolisis dianalisis dengan menggunakan Spektrofotometer Serapan Atom pada panjang gelombang 324,7 nm untuk tembaga dan 240,7 nm untuk kobalt. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berat endapan tembaga dan kobalt menu= seiring dengan semakin besarnya potensial terpasang yang dig-unakan. A research of supplied potential influence against deposit weight in electrolysis of copper and cobalt. Electrolysis of copper was performed under the applied potential of 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4 volt and then cobalt was performed under the applied potential of 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 volt. Electrolysis products were analysed using Atomic Absorption Spectrometry at wavelength 324.7 nm for the copper and 240.7 Mil for cobalt. Experimental result showed that weight of copper and cobalt decreased with the increase of applied potential.
