Abstract
According to Gamble, schindler, and Stiff, heavy metals ion will be bonded with hidroxile (-OH) or Carboxile (-COO) group from an organic compound. Base on Ilionalised, selulose as the main compotition of rice husk have hidroksil group, so it can be used as adsorbent. Acording to susatyo, E . B's researched soaking of rice husk with NaOH 10 % reduce concentration of Cd(II) and Cu(11) metals fom aqueous. The research about the effect of soaked potassium hidroxide (KOH) to rice husk in adsorption processes of Pb2+ had been done. While soaking processes, rice husk become swelling that caused adsorben's porosity increase, and can dissolve organics compound that influence in adsorption process in order to know the Pb-+ remind in water phased AAS was used. The result gave the information of adsorption capacity without soaking metal plumbum 1,15 mg/g. adsorption Capacity soaking rice husk soaking in potassium hidroxide (KOH) were: 1„29 mg/g; 11,92 mg/g; 12,42 mg/g; 12,36mg/g on the contretation of potassium hidroxide (KOH): 10 %, 20 %, 30 %, and 40 Vo_ The optimum adsorption Pb2 rice husk treated were at concentration 30 % with adsorption capacity is 12,42
