Abstract
Telah dilakukan penentuan aktivitas spesifik enzim heksokinase dari limbah fermentasi alkohol dengan penambahan karbofuran pada kisaran konsentrasi : 0,1; 0,5; 1; 2 dan 2,5 mg/L. Aktivitas spesifik enzim heksokinase ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode Wajzer. Dan basil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa karbofuran cenderung berperan sebagai aktivator bagi enzim heksokinase dan enzim heksokinase bekerja optimal pada kondisi basa. Penambahan karbofuran pada konsentrasi 2,5 mg/L aktivitas spesifik enzim heksokinase meningkat dari 1998,07 menjadi 3755,42 U.me. The effect of carbofuran on spesific activity of hexokinase enzyme from fermentation alcohol waste has been determined. The spesific activity was determined at range concentration: 0.1; 0.5; 1; 2 and 2.5 mg/L by using Wajzer method. It was concluded that carbofuran is activating agent to hexokinase enzyme. The optimum condition was reached on base condition. It was increased the spesific activity of hexokinase enzyme , from 1998.07 U.mg-1 to 3755.42 U.mg' at concentration carbofuran 2.5 ing/L.
