Abstract

Pengolahan air limbah tapioka menggunakan Poll Ahauiniinu Merida (aebagai koagulan) telah dilakukan untuk mengurangi kandimgan pati yang ten** dalam air limbah tersebutt. Pengguaaan Poll Alumiaiala Klorida didasarissa etas kemampuan koagulan mai uwtEdc mengikat partibd-partitel koloid lebih mpg dibanding koagulaa lain. Air limb* tapioka. &doh danger PAC, Madan dan Ca(011)2 perbark&gan I : 1 ; I deagaa balm- PAC 2,5 %, wait' pengadukan selama 105 menit dan pengolahan dilakultan 3 to hap dengan kecepataa pengadukan rendah. Limbah cair yang telah diolah nilai kekeruhan, konsentrasi pati dan kadar COD. Poli Aluminium Klorida mampu imp konsentrasi pati yaitu koagulasi porta= nitencapai 82,94 %, koagulasi kedua mencapai 91,32 % dan koagulasi ketiga hingga 96,32 34. Penunmkan kadar COD pada koagulasi pertama mencapai 72,07 %, koagulasi kedna mencapai 80,44 % dan koagulasi ketiga hinp 86,26 %. Sadi Poli ;Aluminium Klorida cuktip efektif digunakaa sebagai koagulan dalam pengolahan Itimbah cair tapiokaTapioca wastewater treatment by using coagulation method with Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC) was done by precipitate starch fonn the waste. Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC) was used because the ability to bind with the colloid particles faster than the other coagulant. The waste water coagulated with Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC), Flolmlant, Ca(011) and the comparisons is 1 1 1 with 2.5 % PAC. The process was up to 105 minutes with three steps coagulation. The starch concentration, turbidity and COD of the filtrate were measured. The first coagulation the starch concentration and turbidity were reduced by 82.94 54, the second coagulation up to 9116 14 and the third coagulation up to 96.32 %. The proportioned COD after first coagulation were measured reduced by 72.071, the second coagulation up to 80.44 % and the third coagulation up to 86.26 %. From the result, Poly Aluminium Chloride can be el*ctively utilized as coagulant in liquid waste of tapioca This docury ent is Undip Institutional Repository Collection.
