Abstract

Telah dibuat 12 jenis membran dater dari bahan polimer selulosa asetat (SA) dan polisulfon (PS). Membran dibuat dengan metode inversi fasa dengan pelarut aseton (AS) dan non pelarut air. Pembuatan membran dilakukan dengan variasi konsentrasi polimer selulosa asetat dan polisulfon. Karakterisasi membran dilakukan dengan pengukuran fluks air, rejeksi terhadap larutan sukrosa, ketebalan membran, dan diameter pod maksimum. Membran dengan nilai fluks terbesar dan terkecil dicobakan untuk penyaringan air sumur di daerah Sambiroto. Berdasarkan ukuran pori, maka semua membran yang dihasilkan adalah jenis membran mikroffitrasi. Membran yang mempunyai permeabilitas terbesar adalah membran Al dengan nilai fluks 1255,27 Lim2.atm.jara Membran yang mempunyai keselektifan terbesar adalah membran 1)2 dengan nilai rejeksi 83,31 %. Membran Ai dengan komposisi 29 % SA, 1% PS, 70 % AS dengan waktu penguapan 15 menit memberikan avlai fluks 1255,27 lim2.atm.jam dengan rejeksi sukrosa terkecil yaitu 77,30 %. Membran Al yang memiliki diameter pad maksimum 2,892 pm, dapat menurunkan kadar logam Ca dan Mg masing-masing sebesar 5,14 % dan 3.78 %. Membran 1)2 dengan komposisi 21 % SA, 9 % PS, 70 % AS dengan waktu penguapan 10 menit memberikan nilai rejeksi 83,31 %, nilai fluks terkecil 14,50 Lim2.atm.jam. Membran D2 yang memiliki diameter pori maksimum 7,230 pm, dapat menurunkan kadar logam Ca dan Mg masing-masing sebesar 6,1 % dan 3,53 %. It. had .been made 12 kinds of flat sheet meMbranes from celluloser..-acetate, (c4): and polysulphon (PS). Membrane were made by phase inversion method with aoetone as solvent and water as non-solvent. The- membranes were prepared with.theivariationcof. polymer concentration. The membranes were characterized by determining :water' flux, rejection of sucrose, thiclmess.and maximum pore diameter. Membranes with highest and lowest water flux were applied for purification of water source in Sambirotalegion. Based on porous size, all-of membrane are microfiltration-membrane: :Membrane . Ai has bigger itermeability which showed a.maximum watergui.1255:27„ Membrane D2 has bigger selectivity which showed rejection of sucrose 8331 %. Membrane A1 .which composition 29 % CA, 1% IS, 70 % ,diraporatiot¬time 15 'minutes showed a maximum water flux 1255.27 1im.atirthr with lowest rejection, of sucrose 77.30 %.
