Abstract

Wastewater of photography which contain very hight concentration dithiosulphatoargentat complex ion, Ag(S203)23-, could be dangerous for health became of toxicity of silver. The aim of this research is to determine the efficiency of silver recovery from washing waste of black-white film by precipitated it using electrolysis method. The result of this research showed that efectively time for waste water of photograpy electrolysis is 40 minutes, with efficiency of electrolysis is 83.36%, and silver purity is 91.65%. It can be concluded that electrolysis methods, by seeing silver purity is effective to recovery silver from washing waste of black-white film. iv This document is Undip Institutional Repository Collection.
