Abstract

Phenolptalein and metil yellow base acid indicator color changed can be interpreted with simple Huckel Molecule Orbital (1I0 ) theory, one of approximation method modern electronic structure theory which is developing quantum mechanics method approximation in round electronic calculation and molecule exitation which can interpretate indicator color changed. This happened because of structure changing which can explain with atoms reactivity parametre in molecule. UV-Vis spectra of phenolptalein in base acid condition have maximum absorbtion are 289.1 nm and 753.1 nm. For metil yellow are 718 tun and 597 nm. Comparassing experiment result and theory, HMO theory can interpretate that spectra which structure changing happened in it-system bond are much longer for phenolptalein and shorter for metil yellow. This result match with reactivity which most reactive atom is 1th atom ( 0 atom ) for phenolptalein further more can produce structure with much longer 7c-system and 15t atom (.1\1 atom ) for metil yellow further more can produce structure with much shorter it-system. Perubahan warna indikator asam basa fenolfialein clan metil kuning dapat: diinterpretasikan dengan teori orbital molekul Huekel ( HMO ) sederhana yang inerupakan salah sate metode aproksimasi teori struktur elektronik modern. Teori HMO merupakan pengembangan pendekatan inotoda mekanika. kuantum pada perhitungan keadaan elektronik clasa• clan tereksitasi molekul. Teori ini minim menginterpretasi perubahan warna. indikator. Perubahan warna ini terjadi karena. perubahan struktur yang dapat clijelaskan dengan parameter 'kereaktifan atom-atom dalam molekul. Spektra UV- fenolft-lein rh,lsirn ssiassins, swam clan basa mempunyai sorapan maksimum masing- mailing pada 289.1 urn dan 753.1 urn.
