Abstract
lsolasi dan karakterisasi pada senyawa metabolit sekunder fraksi metanol dari daun paitan (Tithonia diversifolia, Gray) telah dilakukan. Isolasi yang dilakukan menggunakan pelarut metanol melalui metode perkolasi. Dan fraksi metanol dineroleh kristal berbentuk jarum dan berwarna putih, dimana kristal ini tidak meleleh sampai suhu 250 °C. Analisa UV, IR. dan MS yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa kristal basil isolasi mempunyai serapan pada 221 nm dan 260 nm, mengandung gugus-gugus C-H, C=O dan C=C serta memiliki berat molekul 157. Proses asam basa yang dilakukan terhadap fraksi metanol menghasilkan alkaloid kasar. Berdasarkan hasil analisa UV, IR dan MS tersebut diusulkan bahwa kristal hasil isolasi adalah senyawa golongan fenol, tetapi strukturnya belum dapat diinterpretasikan , uji aktivitas dengan Brine Shrimp Lethality mengusulkan bahwa kristal bersifat sebagai pestisida dengan /Alai LD50 = 2396,75 ppm. Dan alkaloid kasar memilild. aktivitas sebagai antimikroba dengan nilai 1050 = 50,90 ppm. Isolation and characterization of secondary metabolism compound from methanol fraction contained in leaf of wild sun flower (Tithonia diversifolia, Gray) has been carried out. Isolation was done using extraction methode with methanol as solvent by percolation. From methanol fraction, was yield needle white crystal, when it can't be melt at 250 °C. UV, IR and MS analysis for needle white crystal from isolation showed that it has absorption at kmax 221 nm and 260 nm, contains 0-H, C-H, C=O, and has molecule weight 157. Acids and bases process was done in methanol fraction produce crude alkaloids. Based on UV, IR and MS analysis, it was proposed that the needle white crystal from isolation be a phenolic compound but the structure can't be interpreted, activity test with Brine Shrimp Lethality indicate that the compound have as properties as pesticide with 1,05o value of 2396.75 ppm. And crude alkaloids activity was proposed as antimicroba with 1.050 value of 50.90 ppm.
