Abstract

Alkii Benzena Sulfonat (ABS) merupakan salah situ suraktan anionik yang luas persgunaannya di dunia industri. Sahib sate contohnya, Alkil Benzena. Sulfonat digunakan sebagai bahan pembantu dalam proses pencelupan serat poliester dengan at warna dispersi. Poliester sangat bark dicelup dengan zat warna dispersi, namun zat fli2, dispersi stika.r larut dalam sehin,c4;a. pada. basil pencelnpan zat varn.,3 ter- serap tidak m.erata di seluruh pei—mukaan serpt poliester. For example, Alkyl Benzene Sulphonate is used as dyeing assistant in the polyester dyeing with disperse dyestuff Polyester is very suitable dyed with disperse dyestuff however disperse dyestuff is difficult to dissolved in water, so molecules of dyestuff can't spread well on polyester surface. Addition of Alkyl Benzene Suiphonate in certain concentration to the dye bath is expected increase dye leveling on surface of fiber. Alkyl Benzene Sulphonate : L5; 2; 2.5 and 3% owf added into the I% owf of dye bath, then polyester fiber dyed at 130°C for 60 minutes. Textiles of dyeing result are compared their color with textile dyed with DPLSN, a dyeing assistant usually applies in textile industries, to know their DE values. The DE values of textiles of dyeing result are measured by Spectro flash. Meanwhile the dyeing residue. liquor and washing residue liquor are analyzed by spectrophotometer UV VIS to how concentration of dyestuff can't be adsorbed. It is known that at 2 ‘?/0 owf of Alkyl Benzene Sulph.onate, dyestuff is adsorbed maximum by fiber (79.5 %) and its DE value is minimum. The dyeing result with dyeing assistant DPLSN 2 c.V0 owf is 76.38 %. proves that Alkyl Benzene Suiphonate has function as solubilising agent. Test of Alkyl Benzene Sulphonate leveling agent has been done by add the white and colored textile to the dyeing tubes contain : water ; water and buffer ; water, buffer and Alkyl Benzene Sulphonate ; and water, buffer and DPLSN,then processed at 130°C for 60 minutes. The result are analyzed their DE value by Spectro flash. It shows that the textile was processed with Alkyl Benzene Sulphonate has DE value minimum and amount of dye stuff moved to the white textile is maximum. Hasil yang didapatkan, pada. konsentrasi Alkil. Benzena. Sulfonat. 2 % owf zat warna terserap rnaksirnum oleh serat (•9,5 Vo) dan harga DE minimum. Hasil pencelupan menggunakan zit pembantu DPLSN 2 °A, owf jurnlah zat .warma.yana terserap oleh serat 76,38 %. Dapat disimpulkan Alkil Benzena. Sulfonat dapat berfungsi sebagai zat pembantu proses pelarutan (solubilising agent). Pengujian sifat perata warn• dari Alkil Benzena Sulfonat dilakukan dengan meinasukkan kain berwarna yang dijabitkan dengan kain putib ke dalam tabling celup berisi : air ; air data buffer ; air, buffer dan Benzena Sulfonat ; air, buffer dan DPLSN, kenaudian dimasukkan ke dalam inesin celup pada suhu 130'C selama 60 m.enit. Seteiah dianalisa dengan Spektro flash , didapalkan bahw• kain yang dimasuk¬kan ke claim sistem yang berisi Alkil Benzena Sulfonat rnempunvai harga DE minimum dan zat warna. yang berpindah ke kain m.aksinium. Disirrtpulkan Alkil Suit bnai dapat sebagai zat perat
