Abstract

Telah dilakukan uji banding metode penentuan kadar aluminium secara spektrofotometri serapan atom dengan spektrofotometri tampak. Penentuan kadar aluminium secara spektrofotometri serapan atom dengan menganalisis larutan _ sampel secara langsung. Sedangkan analisis secara spektrofotometri tampak dilakukan dengan perlakuan awal yaitu metode ekstraksi menggunakan pereaksi 8- hidroxyquinoline dalam kloroform. Absorbansi diukur dengan spektrofotometer ultra ungu tampak pada panjang gelombang 408 nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsentrasi rata-rata secara spektrofotometri serapan atom adalah 81,01 ± 0,95 ppm dan secara spektrofotometri tampak adalah 79,70 ± 1,64 ppm. Hasil uji statistika menggunakan metode uji t menyatakan nilai texperiment 0,86 dan nilai tu,b,1 2,31 (P:95%). Hal ini berarti texpeTiment lebih kecil dari nilai tiabei dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua metode tersebut tidak berbeda secara nyata. Comparation between atomic absorbtion spectrophotometry and visible spectrophotometry in aluminium determination has been done. Sample solution was analyzed directly by atomic absorbtion spectrophotometry method. Whereas extraction with 8-1-1ydroxyquinoline in chloroform pretreatment must be done in aluminium determination by visible spectrophotometry method. Absorbancy was measured with ultra violet visible spectrophotometer at 408 nm. Result from this research show mean consentration value of aluminium determination by atomic absorbtion spectrophotometry is 81.01 ± 0.95 ppm and by visible spectrophotometry is 79.70 ± 1.64 ppm. Student's-t test yields te - ent 0.86 and ttable 2.31 (P:95%). It can be concluded both methods are not significantly different, because te,p is less than ttable.
