Abstract

The re-search was done under these following conditions : Cr(V1) concentration was 2.5; 5 ; 7.5 and 10 ppm with Alum and PAC as coagulants at 600 and 800 mg respectively; pH at. 4 up to 8; velocity of stirring was 200 rpm for 15 minutes and 100 rpm for 30 minutes. Concentration decreasing of Cr(VI) in solution obtained alter the coagulation was analyzed by UV-Visible Spectrometty. Data shows that optimum coagulation of Cr(VI) ion occurred at 10 ppm by PAC and 10 ppm by Alum, and that the most percentage decreasing Cr(V1) solution is at 10 ppm and PAC concentration at 600 mg with 45,95% removal.
