Abstract
Telah dilakukan, pengurangan kadar ion Ca2+, Mg2+ dan Fe' dalam air tanah Perbukitan Sambiroto Asri memakai koagulan biji kelor. Pengurangan kadar Ca2+ dan Mg2+ diuji dengan metoda titrasi kompleksometri. Pengurangan kadar Fe diuji dengan metoda Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengurangan kadar ion Ca2+, Mg2+ dan Fe2+. Sebelum perlakuan kadarnya berturut-turut ialah 53,972 mg/L; 23,833 mg/L dan 0,339 mg/L. Sesudah perlakuan tinggal 44,088 mg/L; 22,048 mg/L dan 0,072 mg/L. Terbukti di samping •berperan seba ai koagulan, biji kelor juga mampu mereduksi kadar ion Ca +, Mg2+ danFe2+. Reduction of Ca2+, Mg2+ and Fe2+ ion concentration in ground water from Sambiroto Asri Hill by kelor seed as the coagulant. Decreasing in Ca2+ and Mg2+ ion concentration tested by means of complexometric titration method and decreasing in Fe2+ ion concentration by means of Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry. Experiment indicate that decreasing in Ca2+, Mg2+ and Fe2+ ion concentration. Before treatment : Ca2+, Mg2+ and Fe2+ ion concentration gradually are 53.972 mg/L, 23.833 mg/L And 0.339 mg/L. After treatment to 'remain are 44.088 mg/L, 22.048 mng/L and 0.072'mg/L. Appeared to be true', that in addition to as the coagulant, kelor seed .act: also as decreasing agent for Ca2+, Mg2+ and Fe ion concentration.
