Abstract

Salah satu senyawa yang terkandung dalam kulit batang Artocarpus communis Forst atau Kluweh merupakan senyawa Triterpenoid. Isolasi dilakukan dengan cara maserasi menggunakan pelatut n-heksana. Pemisahan hasil ekstraksi dilakukan dengan kromatografi koloms silika gel G 60 sebagai adsorben dan dielusi dengan sistem gradien pelarut ( n-heksana / etil asetat ). Pemurnian dilanjutkan dengan proses rekristalisasi menggunakan pelarut metanol dan digeroleh 78° berwarna putih dengan titik leleh 76 C - 78 C. Dengan melakukan pendekatan kemotaksonomi dan pengujian Spektrofotometri Infra Merah, Ultra Violet, Spektrometri Massa serta membandingkan data dengan literatur menunjukkan bahwa triterpenoid hasil isolasi adalah sikloartenil asetat. It has been examined about of the triterpenoid compound of Artocarpus communis Forst ( kluweh ). The compound of the bark of Artocarpus communis Forst (Kluweh) is Triterpenoid. Isolation of triterpenoid compound was done by maseration method with n-hexane as a Solvent. The separation of extraction by coloumn chromatography with silica gel G 60 as an adsorbent and n-hexane / ethyl acetate as an eluent by gradient elution system. The purification by recrystallization process with methanol and gave white crystal with m.p. 76° C 78° C. In comparison with the literature data, chemotaxonomy approach and analysis by Infra Red spectroscopy, Ultra Violet spectroscopy, Mass spectroscopy, the compound as the result of the isolation was cycloartenyl acetate.
