Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian kandungan senyawa kimia tum-buhan Geri ceps tagal (Perr.) C.B. Rob. yang diambil dazi kawasan'hutan mangrove Cilacap. Hasil skrining fitokimia menunjukkan pada bagian-bagian tertentu dari tumbuhan ini mengandung senyawa fenol, alka-loid, triterpenoid, steroid, senyawa gula dan saponin. Isolasi senyawa flavonoid dari kulit kayu dilakukan dengan perkolasi menggunakan pelarut metanol dan campuran metanol:air (1 : 1). Selanjutnya hidrolisis dilakukan untuk memutuskan ikatan glikosida flavonoid menggunakan HCl 2 N. Pemurnian produk dilakukan dengan rekristalisasi menggunakan metanol dan air Berta analisisnya menggunakan tehnik kromatografi lapis tipis dua dimensi dengan menggunakan eluen TBA dan asam asetat 15%. Spektroskopi ultraviolet-tampak dan inframerah dilaku-kan untuk menentukan struktur hasil isolasi. Informasi tam-bahan tentang struktur flavonoid dapat diperoleh dengan pe-reaksi geser pada analisa dengan spektroskopi ultraviolet-tampak. Dari data yang diperoleh disarankan bahwa senyawa basil isolasi adalah 4',6-dihidroksi auron. It has been done research of chemical compounds of species CariODS tagal (Per.) C.B. Rob. from mangrove forest Cilacap. The result of phytochemistry screening from this plant show that it contained of phenol compounds, alkaloids, triterpenoids, steroids, sugar compounds and saponin in many parts of the plant. Isolation of flavonoid compound from the steam bark was done by percolation method using methanol and methanol water (1 : 1) as solvent. Then the hydrolisis was done to separate glicoside flavonoid bonds using HCl 2N. To get the pure product was done by recrystalisation using methanol and water, its analyze by chromathography two dimensions method using TBA and acetic acid 15 % as eluent. Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy and infrared spectroscopy were done to show the structure of the iso- lation product. Some information about the structure of the compound usually can be got using shift reagent by ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy. It is suggested from the datas, the compound is 4W-dihidroksi auron.
