Abstract

Work performance of Nutritional Surveillance Team can influenced by (1) Input factor namely person, finance, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and infrastructure, (2) Process factor namely collecting of data, analyzing of data, providing of information, monitoring, evaluating, and coordinating. Aim of this research was to analyze work performance of Nutritional Surveillance Team from aspects of input, process, and output to overcome a problem of food vulnerability and malnutrition. This was a qualitative research through in-depth interview and brainstorming. Number of sample was six persons who were Nutritional Surveillance Team. For purpose of triangulation, in-depth interview was conducted to Head of Health Office, Head of Bappeda, and Head of Farming and Horticulture Office in District of Lembata. Results of research show that for aspect of input, all informants said number of staff has been enough in accordance with Decree No. 24 year 2006, fund is technically provided by each sector. Availability of SOP is very important as a guidance of work and team has not understood SOP well. Infrastructure is still joined to each sector. For aspect of process, all informants said process of data collection, data analysis, providing information, monitoring, and evaluating has been done but it is late and not routine because of difficulty in coordination. For aspect of output, all informants said data of sub district/village in which experience food vulnerability and malnutrition will be reported to regent. Nutritional Surveillance Team will follow up this report through intervention of food vulnerability and malnutrition in accordance with a task of each sector. Sumber Utama : www.mikm.undip.ac.id
