Abstract
Theoretical derivation of the atomic spectral line perturbation has been done. Spectral line shift was appeared due to this perturbation and it can be explained as a function of atomic density. Theoretical derivation of spectral line shift has been done throughout the impact theory with the quantum mechanical approach. The phase shift can be derived from the phase shift theory by using Van der Waals interaction. From the analysis of spectral line shift formulation, the relation between spectral line and atomic density can be determined. This relation shows that spectral line proportional to the atomic density. This relation was compared with experiment data (secondary data) of spectral line shift from argon plasma radiation. From those compared shows that the spectral line proportional to the atomic density.
