Abstract
Telah dibuat prototipe sistem pereduksi CO, dengan menggunakan plasma lucutan pijar korona. Plasma lucutan pijar korona dibangkitkan dalam sistem reaktor kawat-bidang dengan sumber tegangan DC. Korona yang terjadi di dalam reaktor yang berisi campuran gas CO2, Ar, NH3, dan uap air (H20) akan mengha.silkan ion-ion elektron dan radikal energetik_ Adanya uap air dan NH3 tnengubah CO, C, dan 0 dalam hipotesa menjadi aerosol (NH4)2CO3 yang tidak berbahaya bagi lingkungan. Besarnya persentase reduksi CO2 yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah 85,0% pada tegangan elektroda 5,8 kV dengan jarak antar elektroda 0,7 cm. The prototype system of CO,: reductor has been made as an expedient of the application of the corona glow discharges plasma_ The corona glow discharges plasma is generated in wire to plane-system by DC generator. Corona which occur inside reactor that contain mixing gaseous of CO2, Ar, NH3, and H2O will yield electric ions and anergetic radical. In the presence of ILO change CO, C, and 0 in hypothesis to be aerosol (NH4)2CO3 that harmless for environment. The value of CO2 reduction percentage which found in this experiment is 85.0% in the condition of the electrode voltages 5.8 kV of the electride gaps of 0.7 cm.
