Abstract

Scaling program with using Turbo Pascal language has been done. The images were gotten from basic and scanning images, that therefore be research sample. Generally, the used methods consist of interpolation and reduction methods. Interpolation methods used in image magnification, that consist of near neighbour, bilinear and bicubic interpolation methods. Whereas reduction methods used in image smalling which consist of quantum and average reductions. The results show, that image zooming with used bicubic interpolation methods qualitively was better than the others. Whereas in image smalling, average reduction methods qualitively was shows the satisfying enough result.
