Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian kadar Pb (timbal) dalam sampel rambut dari pekerja jalanan dan rambut petani. Pengukuran kadar Pb dilakukan dengan menggunakan metoda Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom (Solid Sampling Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry). Rambut dipotong potong kecil, dicuci, dihaluskan dan dihomogenkan kemudian dianalisis dengan Spektrofotometer Serapan Atom. Hasil dari pengukuran dan analisis diperoleh kadar Pb dalam rambut pekerja jalanan minimal 0,837 ppm dan maksimal 9,551 ppm, sedangkan kadar Pb dalam rambut petani minimal 0,323 ppm dan maksimal 4,400 ppm. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa rambut pekerja jalanan mempunyai kadar Pb yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rambut petani. Pada pekerja jalanan usia berpengaruh terhadap kadar Pb dalam rambut, sedangkan pada petani hanya lama bekerja yang mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kadar Pb dalam rambut. A research of Pb content determination has been done for street workers and farmers hairs. Measurement of Pb content was treated using Solid Sampling Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry method. The hairs were cut shortly, washed, refined, homogenized and then analyzed accurately using A`c:nic Absorption Spectrophotometry. The Pb content that was determined from measurement and analysis on the street workers hairs was 0,837 ppm at minimum and 9,551 ppm at maximum, mean while the farmers was 0,323 ppm at minimum and 4,400 ppm at maximum. So, it can summarized that the street workers hairs have higher content of Pb than the farmers. The street workers hairs Pb content is influenced by the age, mean while the farmers only influenced by work duration
