Abstract
A research concerning about the effect of density and the slice thickness to the CT Number has been done. Within the research of density and x-ray tube voltage effect, it was used 7 material types having different density and the x-ray tube voltage that were selected are 110 kV and 130 kV, meanwhile the research concerning about the effect of scanning slice thickness to the CT Number, it was utilised a wooden material as a material type with the scanning slice thickness of 2 mm, 5 mm, and 10 mm. The experiment results show that the graphic of the CT Number as function of density approximates linearly in which the increased density will lead to the increased CT Number, meanwhile, for the higher tube voltage alteration extent of the CT Number values due to the density therefore was getting more decreased. The scanning slice thickness doesn't affect the resulted CT Number values. The scanning slice thickness only determines the thickness of the seemed area for a material type, while for a layered material the scanning slice thickness affects the CT Number. right owner(s) agree submission to any medium „, XiV or copyright owner(s) also agree submission for purpose' ',curl )ck-up and presel .ac.id)
