Abstract

The experiments have been done to find out the influence of addition filter usage to radiation dosage in radiodiagnostic X-ray energy range. This experiments was done by exposure time compensation on various thickness and X-ray power by using AEC (Automatic Exposure Control), The result of experiment shows that the thicker is the addition filter, the less radiation dosage will be. Addition filter Aluminum (Al) at tube voltage 40 --100 kVg will reduce radiation absorbed dose about 6 — 23%; 1,0 mm filter is 13 — 36%; 2,0 mm filter is 26 — 45%; 2,5 mm filter is 28 49%; and 3,0 mm filter is 33 — 52%. Key word: addition filter, exposure time compensation, radiation absorbed dose. xi II-11,2 11 I. Ll LLILLUL..1 LUL y LaJLeutori. I fie a.tilofis or co Tr hi owne s' a ree that
