Abstract

Telah dilakukan studi literatur peralatan teleterapi akselerator linear (linac) electron bidang medis model ML-6M exl 8 Mitsubishi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung beberapa parameter fundamental linac. Beberapa parameter dari linac dihitung berdasarkan teori dengan menggunakan data-data yang terdapat dalam buku petunjuk teknis peralatan. Hasil perhitdngan terhadap daya keluaran untuk (PO, untuk menghasilkan energi elektron sebesar 8 MeV, angka dosis (D), peningkatan suhu pendinginan (AT) dibandingkan dengan data dari buku petunjuk teknis peralatan. Diperoleh dari perhitungan , Po = 1,9277 MW, D= 4,2 Gy/min, AT 40C, dan nilai parameter ini untuk data teknis Po = 2 MW, I) = 2-10 Gy/min, AT= maksimal 5° C. Literature study of medical electron linear accelerator teleterapy model ML-6M exl 8 Mitsubishi has been done. The aim of this study is to determine the fundamental parameters of the aforementioned linac. Several fundamental parameters have been found based on theoretical calculation by using data in operating manual book. From the calculation, we found that output power of radio frequency to obtain energy of electron of 8 MeV is 1,9277 MW, the electron dose is 4,2 Gy/min and the increase of the cooling water linac temperature is 4° C. As comparison, in operating manual book, the output power of RF is 2 MW, the electrons dose is 2-10 Gy/min and the increase of the cooling water linac temperature is 5° C maximum.
