Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian penerapan metoda CSAMT (Controlled Source Audio-Frequency Magnewiellurics) untuk melokalisir sumber pamas bumi ( daerah dengan tahanan jenis rendah < 15 Ohm.m) di daerah Wills Jawa Timur. Pada metoda ini medam elektromagnet (EM) dibangkitkan dengan menggunakan Transmitter (GGT-10) dan Transmitter pengontrol (XMT-16) dengan sumber generator ZMG-7,5 kVA yang dilengkapi regulator tegangan VR-1 (dengan kisaran frekwensi 0,125-8192 Hz). Kemudian menggunakan elektroda transmitter (terbuat dan plat alumunium) arus AC diinjeksikan ke dalam bumi. Dengan menggunakan penerina (Receiver GDP-16 dan elektroda porospot) data tahanan jenis semu direkam. Dalam penelitian ini berhasil ditemukan indikasi daerah prospek patios bumi dengan tahanan jenis rendah (<15 Ohm.m) mulai pada kedalaman 750 m pada daerah tengah dan Timur Laut daetrah penelitian (111°401-1110451 BT, 7°451-7°501 LS), dengan luas area diperkirakan 9 km2 A research of application of CSAMT (Controlled Source Audio-Frequency Magnetotellurics) method to locate geothermal energy source (area with low resistivity <15 Ohm.m) at Wilis area, East Java has been done. On this method, the electromagnetics field was generated by using transmitter (GGT-10) and transmitter controller (XMT-16) with motor ZMG-7,5 kVA provided voltage regulator VR-1 (with frquency about 0,125-8192 Hz). Then using transmitter electrode (made of alumunium plat), alternating current was injected inside earch. With using receiver (GDP-16 and porospout electrode) data of apperent resistivity was recorded. In this research was found indication of geothermal prospecting area with low resistivity (<15 Ohm_m) start of depth 750 m on midle and Sea East research area (111° 401-111° 451 E 7°451- 7°501 S) with wide of area assumed 9 km2.
