Abstract

Magnetic resonance, imaging (MR.1) atau pencitraan resonansi magnetik merupakan penemuan terbaru dalam diagnostik imaging. MRI tidak memberikan dampak radioionisasi dan tidak merusak jaringan tubuh (non-invasij). MRI bekerja berdasarkan prinsip resonansi magnetik yang dihasilkan oleh proton oleh inti hidrogen yang banyak terkandung di dalam tubuh. Resonansi magnetik terjadi akibat pemberian pulsa frekuensi radio (RF) pada pasien yang ditempatkan pada medan magnet berkekuatan tinggi. Peristiwa resonansi magnetik akan menghasilkan sinyal MR, kemudian mclalui proses komputer yang komplek sinyal tersebut diolah untuk menghasilkan suatu citra: Dengan memvariasikan waktu pengulangan (TR) dan waktu gaung (TE) maka akan diperoleh suatu citra yang berkualitas balk. Kata kunci : MRI, waktu pengulangan (TR), waktu gaung (TE). Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a new invention in diagnostic imaging. Diagnostic imaging is one way in diagnosing using image. MRI didn't give the radiation ionization impact and did't caused any destruction on body tissue (non invasif). The IvIRI works by the principle of magnetic resonance produced by the proton from hidrogen nucleus which is has a lot of abundancy in bodies_ The magnetic resonance took place because of radiofrequency (RF) pulse given on the patient placed in the high intensity magnetic field. The magnetic resonance (MR) will caused MR signal, then by complex computer process the signal is turned to produced image. By variating the value of time repetition (TR) and time echo (TE) of image contras, we obtained a good quality image. Key word: MRI, time repetition (TR), time echo (a)
