Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk menentukan kandungan unsur logam berat dalam sedimen sungai Babon Semarang dengan metoda. Analisis Pengaktifan Neutron (APN). Cuplikan sedimen di ambil di sungai Babon Semarang path 7 lokasi pengamatan. Proses penyiapan, iradiasi dan analisis cuplikan dilakukan di Reaktor Serba Guna GA. Siwabessy (RSG-GAS) Badan Tenaga Atom Nasional {RATAN) Serpong, Jawa Barat. Hasil analisis kualitag logam berat yang ditemukan dalam cuplikan sedimen sungai Babon yaitu Cr-5I, Co-57, Fe-59 dan Hg-197. Hasil analisis kuantitatif logam berat, yaitu untuk Cr-51 sebesar 1,91-9.91 ppm; Fe-59 sebesar 3,89-6,44 ppm dan Hg-197 sebesar 1,59-2,06 ppm. It has been done a reseach to determine the heavy metal elements in the surficial sediment of Babon river in Semarang by Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA) method. Sample was taken in Babon river Semarang at seven location. Sample preparation, irradiation and analysis are done at the Multipurpose Reactor GA Siwabessy (RSG-GAS), National Atomic Energy Agency (BATAN) Serpong, West Java The result of the heavy metals qualitative analysis are Cr-51, Co-57, Fe-59 and Hg-197. The result of the heavy metals quantitative analysis : 1,91-9,91 ppm for Cr-51; 3,89-6,44 ppm for Fe-59 and 1,59-2,06 ppm for Hg-197.
