Abstract
Telah dirancang -bangun alat penumbuh kristal merkuri iodida dengan metode osilasi suhu yang diterapkan pada tipe tanur horisontal. Alat ini terdiri dari tiga perangkat utama yaitu alat pengontrol 'suhu alat pengatur waktu dan tanur,. 6 Alat pengontrol suhu cukup stabil dengan fluktuasi 1 C, dan alat pengatur waktunya mempunyai periode keluaan tinggi selama 3 menit 04 detik dan keluaran rendah selama 19 menit 58 detik. Supu daerah sumber pada tanur diosilasi antara 97°1 dan 110 C sedang suhu daerah kristal dipertahankan konstan pada 103 GC-. Periode osilasi diatur oleh sebuah alat pengatur waktu, dengan periode untuk pertumbuhan T selama 19 menit 58 detik dan periode untuk penguapan kembali Tp selama 3 mnit 04 detik. Kristal merkuri iodida di4umbuhkan dalam sebuah ampul yan divakumkan pada tekan 10 Torn dan diletakkan di dalam tanur. Pada uji penumbuhan selama 7x20 jam telah menuniukkan adanya gejala proses pertumbuhan kristal HgI,, yaitu terbentuknya-kristalit-kristalit didalam ampul. Abstract The grower apparatus of mercuric iodide crystal by temperature oscillation method has assemblied which applied in horisontal furnace type. This apparatus to consist of three main element, i.e. temperature controller, timer and furnace. The temperature controller sufficiently stable with 1 GC of fluctuation, and the timer have period for on position about 3 min. 04 sec and period for off position about 19 min. 58 sec. The source zone temperature is oscillated between 97 oC and 110 GC and the crystal zone temperature kept on about 103 °C constantly. Oscillation period is controlled by a timer circuit which its growth period T about 19 min. 58 sec. and its reevaporation period T about 3 min. 04 sec; Mercuric iodide_vystal were grown in the ampoul that evacuated of 10 - Tour and located in the furnace. The crystal growing of Hg l, experimenthave carried_out during 7x20 hour, showed growth process phenomenon, i.e. crystallites-be shaped in the ampoul.
