Abstract
Telah dirangkai suatu alat ukur suseptibilitas magnet dengan metode kesetimbangan gaya magnet dan gaya gravitasi. Sistem peralatan ini terdiri dari beberapa komponen peralatan, seperti : Sistem elektromagnet, teslameter, eatu days. DC yang dilengkapi dengan regulator arcs, neraca dan amperemeter. Keakuratan peralatan ini diuji dengan eara. menggunalcart sister peralatan ini untuk mengukur sampel standard yang telah diketahui nilai suseptibilitas magnetnya Dari pengukuran nilai suseptibilitas magnet sampel standard garam mohr diperoleh hasil : (32,457 ± 3,501) x 10"4 emu/gram Sedangkan nilai suseptibilitas magnet xu-am mohr dari acuan Seiwood, 1959) adalah sebesar 31,25 x leemu/gram_ Dalam penelitian ini sampel yang diukur adalah sampel batuan yang diambil dari wilayah Semarang dan Ungaran, sesuai dengan letak jenis-jenis batuan dalam peta geologi. Hasil pengukuran yang diperoleh di-plot-kan ke dalam peta geologi tempat batuan itu diambil. Dengan menghubungkan tempat-tempat yang mempunyai nilai suseptibilitaIt has been arranged a magnetic suceptibility measure by gravity and magnetic force balancing method. This system consist of a few apparatus, such : Electromagnetic system, teslaineter, DC power suply with current regulator, balance and ainperemeter. The accuracy of this equipment has tested by using this system to measure standard sample wich have known it's value of magnetic suceptibility. Since the measurement of magnetic suceptibility of standard sample mohr salt we have got the result : (32,457 + 3,501) x 10-6 emutgarn Which the magnetic suceptibility of mohr salt from refference (Seiwood, 1959), is about : 31,25 x 10 emu/gram. In this observation, the sample that have been measure are rocks sample which taken from Semarang and Ungar= area as the position of the kind of rocks on the geology map.Than, the result be *ling to the geology map of the position of that rocks_ By relating the points which have the same magnetic suceptibility value, so we could found magnetic suceptibility contour.
