Abstract
Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi unsur nikel dalarn batuan tambang untuk bijih nikel kadar tinggi (high-grade of nickel ore) Maupi,in kadar rendah (low-grade of nickel ore) dengan metode Laser Induced Plasma (LIP). Plasma hatuan nikel dihangkitkan inelului pemfbkusan laser pulsa daya tinggi pada tekanan 1 atmosfi•, tanpa perlakuan awal dim pada sampel. Mari hasil perhitungan yang diperoleh, limit deteksi terendah dari metode .ini sebesar 76,61 ppm dan S/B rasio telling' 40,67 untuk emisi Ni (I) 279,7 nrrz dengan energi laser 60 in.1. Kata Kunci Laser Induced Plasma, garis emisi atomik, emisi kontinu. Identification of nickel element in the mineral of nickel ore high-grade nickel ore and low-grade nickel ore have been done by Laser Induced Plasma (LIP) method. The plasma of the ore sample has generated by focusing high power pulse laser without pretreatment of the sample at I atmospheric pressure. From this experiment, the limit detection and NB ratio were obtained for 60 nil energy laser and emission Ni (I) 279,7 not at about 76,61 ppm and 40,67 respectively.
