Abstract
Definite structure under the surface has been realized based on velocity of microtremor wave using ellipticity curve in Yogyakarta. Ellipticity curve used in earthquake technique to determine fundamental frequency from earthquake location and very responsive to site and depth from layered. Data has been used is earthquake data of MERAMEX (Merapi Amphibious Experiment) from earthquake event that happenend on September, 5 2004 in S.Coast, Honshu, Japan from hour 14.00-16.00 which recorded by earth-quake observer station in Yogyakarta. The data has been processed by seismology software, geopsy and dinver. The result can be concluded that there are vp and vs closure max relative in south-east of Yogyakarta with vp mean is 2250 m/s and vs mean is 1350 m/s. Clo-sure of vp and vs minimum relative in south-west and north-west of Yogyakarta with vp mean is 1050-1200 m/s and vs mean is 550 m/s.
