Abstract
Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk menetukan permeabilitas rata-rata pasir lepas dari Merapi (Muntilan), pasir gunung (Tembalang), pasir pantai (Jepara) dan pasir sungai (Mranggen) berdasarkan diameter butir. Diameter butir ditentukan dengan menggunakan alat analisis saringan (standar ASTM). Setelah diameter butir didapat, koefisien rembesan ditentukan dengan metode constant head, hasil yang didapat diubah ke Darcy. Hasil pembagian diameter butir keempat jenis pasir memberikan basil yang hampir sama kecuali Pasir Jepara. Hubu.ngan antara permeabilitas dan diameter butir adalah semakin besar diameter butir semakin besar permeabilitasnya. Persamaan permeabilitas rata-rata yang dihasilkan yaitu km— 3,44 d2 + 3,88. It has been done the research of permeability estimation of loose sand from Merapi (Muntilan), mountain (Tembalang), beach (Jepara) and river (Mranggen) based on grain size. Grain size are determined using sieve analysis (ASTM standart). Coefficient of permeability are determined by constant head method, the result are changed to darcy. The result on measurement grain size between four sample are in a good agreement, except Jepara sand. The relation of permeability and grain size are permeability increseases with increasing grain size. Equation of average permeability are k2() = 3,44 d2 + 3,88.
