Abstract
Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh jarak sumber radiasi ke permukaan medium (SSD), luas lapangan penyinaran dan kedalaman medium terhadap dosis serap pada pesawat cobalt-60 Alcyon HP di RS. Dr. Karyadi Semarang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pesawat teleterapi cobalt-60 Alcyion HP dengan energi 1,25 MeV, waktu penyinaran 30 detik dengan memvariasi jarak somber ke permukaan medium (SSD) pada 65 cm, 75 cm, dan 85 cm. Setiap jarak somber kepermukaan medium (SSD) dilakukan variasi kedalaman medium yaitu pada 0 cm, 0,5 cm, 1 cm, 3 cm, 5 cm, dan 10 cm kemudian setiap kedalaman dilakukan variasi luas lapangan penyinaran 5 x 5 cm, 10 x 10 cm, 15 x 15 cm, 20 x 20 cm, dan 25 x 25 cm. Dosis serap diukur dengan menggunakan dosimeter farmer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin pendek jarak somber ke .permukaan medium (SSD) maka dosis serap akan semakin besar dan pada jarak somber ke permukaan medium (SSD) yang jauh maka dosis serap akan semakin turun. Semakin luas lapangan penyinaran maka dosis serap akan semakin besar. Dosis serap akan terus naik mulai dari permukaan medium 0 cm sampai pada kedalaman 0,5 cm dan setelah it dosis serap akan turun. Dosis serap maksimum pada pesawat cobalt-60 Alcyon HP dicapai pada prosentase dosis serap kedalaman 100% yaitu pada kedalaman 0,5 cm. The research about the influence of source to surface distance radiation (SSD), irradiating field sized, and medium depth to absorbent dose for teleteraphy equipment of cobalt-60 Alcyon lIP in RS. Dr. Karyadi Semarang. The research has been conducted by using of teleteraphy equipment of cobalt-60 Alcyon ZIP 1,25 Mev, irradiating time 30 second with the variation of the source to surface distance (SSD) at 65 cm, 75 cm, and 85 cm. Every source to surface distance ( SSD) has been done by variation of medium depth at 0 cm, 0,5 cm, 1 cm, 3 cm, 5 cm, and 10 cm then each depth was variated of irradiating field 5 cm x 5 cm, 10 cm x 10 cm, 15 cm x 15 cm, 20 cm x 20 cm, and 25 cm x 25 cm. Absorbent dose was measured by using dosemeter fanner. The result of research show that the shorter source to surface distance (SSD) then absorbent dose will be greater and the greater source to surface distance (SSD) then absorbent dose will progressively decreased. The wider irradiating field then absorbent dose will be greater. Absorbent dose will increased from medium surface at 0 cm depth up to the depth of 0,5 cm and afterwards absorbent dose will decreased. Absorbent dose maximum at teleteraphy equipment of cobalt-60 Alcyon 11P reached at absorbent procentage dose of depth at 100% is 0,5 cm depth.
