Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penentuan luas .focal spot dengan mengguna.kan metode pin hole dan membandingkan dengan metode RM1 focal spot test tool. Focal spot adalah daerah yang ditembaki oleh electron pada anoda yang merupakan bagian dari tabling sinar-X. Penentuan focal spot yang dapat dilakukan dengan dua metode yaitu metode pin hole dan .RMI focal spot test tool. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap dua .focal spot yaitu focal spot kecil (1X1 mm2) dan focal spot besar (2X2 mint} pada pesawat Rontgen Simadzu ED 150 L . Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian yaitu pada metode pin hole ukuran focal spot kecil adalah 1,366 mm2 ± 0,246 mm2, dan ukuran focal spot besar adalah 4,529 mm2 ± 0,108 mm2, sedangkan dari Rt1/11 focal spot test tool didapat ukuran _lbw/ spot kecil 1,302 nun2 ± 0,321 mm2, dan ukuran focal .spot besar 4,400 nun2 ± 0,734 nun 2, Dari hasil ini diperoleh bahwa penentuan fbcal spot test tool memiliki tingkat penyimpangan dan luas pada manual masing masing pin hole 28 % dan test tool 29 % untuk focus kecil serta pin hole 13,3 % dan test tool 10 % untuk fokus besar. Hasil dari kedua metode tersebut masih dalam toleransi yang diijinkan. The research about determination of focal spot size has been done by using pin hole method and using RMI focal spot test tool. Focal spot is the anode area bombarded by electron and representing one part of X-ray tube and the results of butte methods have been compased. Determination of focal spot can be arranged by two methods which are pin hole method and RMI focal spot test tool. Examination conducted by two focal spot size which small focal spot with size of 1X1 mm2 and big focal spot with size 2X2 mm2 of the Simadzu ED 150 L X-ray equipment. From the Result of this research we found that of the focal size measured for small focus was 1,366 mm2 ± 0,246 mm2, and focal size measured for big focus was 4,529 mine ± 0,108 miti2 for measurement by pin hole, while from RMI focal spot test tool the focal size measured for small focus is 1,302 mine ± 0,3211=2, and focal size measured for big spot is 4,400 mm2 ± 0,734 mm2. From this result it can be concluded that the size deviation value from manual is pin hole 28 % and test tool 29,3 % for small focus, pin hole 13,3 % and test tool 10 % for big focus. The Result from both methods still in permitted telerance.
