Abstract
The 14 MeV fast neutron emission rate produced in a neutron generator based on D-T nuclear reaction has been measured. The 'measurement was done by associated particle method that is by measuring the corresponding a particle at neutron from D-T reaction used surface barrier detector. The 14 MeV neutron emission rate produced for D-T nuclear reaction was 2.8 x 108 neutron per second for 500 mA deutron beam current. It can be shown that 14 MeV neutron emission rate is equal with that at threshold activation reaction method. Telah diukur laju emisi neutron cepat 14 MeV yang dihasilkan oleh generator neutron yang berdasarkan pada reaksi inti D--T. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan metode partikel assosiasi yaitu dengan mengukur partikel a yang bersesuaian dengan neutron dari hasil reaksi dengan menggunakan detektor sawar muka. Lau emisi neutron cepat 14 MeV dari reaksi inti D-T untuk arus deutron 500 pA adalah 2,8 x 108 neutron per detik. Dapat ditunjlIkkan bahwa besarnya laju emisi neutron cepat 14 MeV ini bersesuaian dengan yang diperoleh metode reaksi aktivasi ambang. _WikNen-1--ia\vm
