Abstract
Telah dilakukan eksperimen untuk mengetahui efek suhu dan tekanan curing terhadap sifat .mekinik laminat komposit aramid fabric reinforced epoxy resin di Laboratorium Bonding Komposit, PT. Industri. Pesawat Terbang Nusantara (IPTN). Pengujian ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode destructive test yaitu uji tensile, uji kompresi dan uji interlaminar shear. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari eksperimen • tersebut adalah suhu optimum sebesar 125°C dan tekanan optimum sebesar 55 psi, untuk pengoperasian curing menggunakan table press dalam pembuatan aramid fabric reinforced epoxy resin. ABSTRACT It was done experiment to know the curing temperature and pressure effect to mechanical properties of aramid fabric reinforced epoxy resin in Bonding and Composite Laboratory PT IPTN Bandung. Used destructives. test methode to decide testing that were tensile test, compression test and interlaminar shear test. As regard result be got from the experiment were optimum temperature 125°C and optimum compressive 55 psi for curing operation with table press in making aramid fabric reinforced epoxy resin.
