Abstract

A geophysical survey using resistivity method was carried out in Arjuno-Wilerang area, East Java. The purpose of this survey is to localize the distribution of conductif area in lateral and vertical directions. In this survey using two resistivity methods, two methods were applied i e : 1. Resistivity mapping was used to detect the resistivity lateral variation. 2. Resistivity sounding was used to determine the vertical variation of resistivity. From second interpretation was produced anomaly contour of conductif areas and cross section layers structure. The final of interpretation, can be interpreted that the conductif area denotes a geothermal source. The geothermal source detected in Songgoriti area on depth abaout 200 meter and this resistivity less then 10 ohm m. INTISARI Telah dilakukan penelitian geofisika metode resistivity • di Daerah Arjuno-Wilorang, Jawa Timur. Daerah ini diduga terdapat sumber panasbumi. Tujuam penelitian adalah untuk melokalisir daerah konduktif balk kearah lateral maupun kearah vertikal. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dua metode pengukuran resistivity yaitu : 1. Metode resistivity mapping yang berguna untuk melokalisir ke arah lateral. 2. Metode resistivity sounding yang berguna untuk menentukan variasi resistivitas ke arah vertikal. Dari kedua interpretasi diatas, akan diperoleh peta daerah anomaly konduktif dan peRampang struktur perlapisan. Interpretasi akhir disimpulkan dahwa daerah konduktif tersebut merupakan daerah daerah sumber panasbumi, yang diteinukan di daerah Songgoriti pada kedalaman sekitar 200 meter dengan resistivitas lebih kecil 10 ohm m.
