Analysis on Planning Proces of Public Drug Need For Basic Health Service in Health Centre All over Departemen of Health City, Tasikmalaya

Abstract

Therapy is a principle program in basic health service. Drug is essensial component from a health service, so drug has to be well maneged. Public drug for basic health service is controlled by Department of Health City, Tasikmalaya based on Indonesian Ministry of Health policy. Drug need planning in Health Centre is not always in accordance with the real need. So the planning process of public drug need, needs to be studied and found out its solution. Research purposes is intended to know planning menthod of public drug need that had been done in Health Centre and identify some problems of drug planning. The research is observational type with qualitative approach supported by quantitative data. Primary data collecting was done by way of interview, cross check of information and focus group discussion (FGD), whereas secondary data was found from Pharmacy Part on Departement of Health City. Informant ditermined by puposive sampling method. Principle informant in way of interview was pharmacist on Health Centre. Cross check of information did to Head of Health Centre and Head of Pharmacy Part. Research instrument used, is a guide of interview and FGD content questioner 19 points. Managing of data by content analysis. The result of reseach show that Health Centre in making plan of public drug need used consumption method. Inaccuracy drug planning of drug need generally caused by inaccuracy basic data, irrational therapy implementation, diffrent perseption between describer and pharmacist obout rational therapy, Health Centre has not known yet about method of accurate plan of drug need, rationali therapy standard in Health Centre has not been applicated firmly. .
