Abstract

Nursing activity is one of services activities at a hospital. The main task of nurses in providing nursing care towards a patient is to analyze patients need, to make a planning, to evaluate the result of nursing care, and to document nursing care. This was an explanatory research using cross sectional approach and quantitative-qualitative method. Subject of this research was eight persons who were the head of room, and 56 nurses. Measurement of supervision was conducted by in-depth interview and analyzed by Content Analysis. Variables of characteristics, attitude, work burden, and facility were measured quantitatively. Sample was carried out by using purposive sampling. Statistical analysis for quantitative data used Rank Spearman test. Percentage of respondents who have good knowledge (52%) pvalue 0,0001, good attitude (57%) p value 0,000, moderate work burden (37%) p value 0,011, availability of a form (61%) p value 0,001 and availability of nursing care (59%). p value 0,001 . Percentage of nursing care documenting activities for each step is namely early diagnosis (43%), advance diagnosis (29,6%), nursing plan (29,8%), treatment (57,8%), evaluation (53,4%), and nursing care record (69%). In terms of statistical analysis, the factor of knowledge, attitude, work burden, and facility have significant relationship with documenting activities of nursing care. Otherwise, the factors of age, length of work, and education do not have significant relationship with documenting activities of nursing care. Sumber Utama : www.mikm.undip.ac.id
