Abstract

ABSTRAK Komputer tidak dapat dipisahkan dalam dunia perkantoran modern saat ini. Hampir setiap pekerja di kantor dapat dipastikan memiliki sebuah komputer atau laptop di ruangan kerjanya. Tanpa disadari, interaksi manusia dengan komputer sangat berpengaruh terhadap kondisi kesehatan penggunanya. Berdasarkan penelitian, manusia yang bekerja rata-rata 3 jam sehari di depan layar komputer memiliki resiko besar mengalami gangguan kesehatan atau cedera yang dinamakan Cummulative Trauma Dissorder (CTD). Cidera ini disebabkan karena secara tidak disadari postur tubuh pekerja tidak berubah / statis dan sedikit sekali melakukan gerakan tubuh, Otot pada tangan meregang dalam waktu yang lama di atas keyboard, dan ditambah lagi otot tangan kanan harus menggenggam mouse. Permasalahan yang diambil dalam penelitian kali ini adalah mengetahui apakah dengan memberikan istirahat singkat pada operator komputer di sela-sela pekerjaannya dapat mempengaruhi beban otot yang diterima dan produktivitas operator. Sedangkan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur nilai beban otot operator setelah pemberian istirahat singkat secara periodik, serta pengaruhnya terhadap produktivitas operator. Untuk mengukur nilai beban otot operator, digunakan alat pengukur kontraksi otot yaitu EMG M4. Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan adalah diketahui bahwa operator yang bekerja terus menerus tanpa sering mengambil waktu istirahat secara teratur atau hanya beristirahat seperlunya memiliki nilai beban otot yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan operator yang beristirahat singkat dan melakukan peregangan secara periodik. Istirahat periodik juga tidak mempengaruhi produktivitas operator, sebaliknya produktivitas operator cenderung meningkat. Periode waktu istirahat yang disarankan dari hasil penelitian adalah istirahat tiga kali 30 detik dan satu kali 3 menit istirahat setiap 1 jam bekerja. Operator yang diberikan waktu istirahat tersebut memilki rata-rata jumlah ketikan yang lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan operator yang bekerja terus menerus tanpa beristirahat. Almost every Worker in the office is certain to have a computer or laptop in his room. ithout realizing it, human interaction with computers is very influential on the health condition of users. Based on the research, people who work an average of 3 hours a day in front of a computer screen has a great risk of experiencing health problems or injury, called Cummulative Trauma Disorder (CTD). Injury is caused because workers are not aware of your posture does not change / static and very little body movement, muscle stretching on hand for a long time at the keyboard, and added more muscle right hand should hold the mouse. Problems that were taken in this study was to determine whether to give a short break at a computer operator on the sidelines of his work can affect the muscle load is acceptable and operator productivity. While this study aims to measure the value of your muscle weight after giving a brief break periodically, and its influence on the productivity of the operator. To measure the value of your muscle weight, muscle contraction used gauge of EMG M4. And then to help regulate the frequency of periodic breaks, stretch break software used eval version 6.5.1. Data were then processed using One Way ANOVA. The results of the research that has been done is to note that the operators who work continuously without taking frequent rest periods on a regular basis or just resting muscle load as necessary to have values greater than the operator brief rest and stretch periodically. Periodic rest also did not affect the productivity of the operator, even operators tend to increase productivity. Operators who often take time off periodically to have the average number of keystrokes more than the operators who work continuously. The recommended period of rest time of the research is to break three times in 30 seconds and one times 3-minute break every 1 hour worked. Operators are given time off has an average number of keystrokes more than the operators who work continuously without rest.
