Abstract
ABSTRAK Budidaya laut sebagai bagian dari kesisteman sea farming merupakan salah satu bentuk upaya pemecahan masalah penangkapan berlebih. Di Indonesia, potensi budidaya ini sangat besar akan tetapi kegiatannya masih belum dioptimalkan. Salah satu pendekatan yang digunakan untuk membantu kegiatan perencanaan wilayah yang dilakukan pemerintah dalam mengoptimalkan kegiatan tersebut adalah dengan merancang suatu konsep pengembangan model linear programming perikanan budidaya laut yang mampu memaksimalkan keuntungan berdasarkan sumberdaya yang tersedia. Tahap awal kegiatan penelitian adalah formulasi model matematis berdasarkan identifikasi sistem. Selanjutnya parameter model diidentifikasi dan diperoleh nilainya. Dari formulasi serta nilai parameter tersebut, selanjutnya dilakukan pengolahan model menggunakan metode simpleks dengan bantuan software Quantitative System. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa keputusan jenis komoditi, jumlah produksi, serta informasi mengenai jumlah penggunaan sumberdaya. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan studi kasus yang dilakukan di Perairan Karimunjawa menyatakan bahwa komoditi yang memaksimalkan keuntungan adalah rumput laut, kerang darah, serta kerapu bebek. Hal tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam membuat kebijakan terkait dengan kegiatan perencanaan budidaya laut di wilayah perairan studi kasus. ABSTRACT Marine aquaculture, as part of sea-farming-system, is one form attempts of problem solving to overfishing. In Indonesia, this marine aquaculture potential is tremendous yet the activities haven’t been optimized. One approach used to help the regional planning activity executed by local government in optimization of marine aquaculture is by designing such a develompmental concept of linear programming model of marine aquaculture fisheries that is able to maximize the profit based on the available resources. The early step of research activity is the formulation of mathematic model based on system identification. Next is to identify and value the parameters of the model. From these, the processing of model is done using simplex method with the help of Quantitative System software. The result is a decision about the vary of commodities, the amount of production, and also the amount of sources allocation. The result of research based case carried in Karimunjawa Water shows that the commodities which maximize the profit are seaweed, kerang darah, and kerapu bebek. It can help the government in formulating related policies to marine aquaculture planning activities in the cased based research’s water area.
