Abstract

The success of an organization in achieving its objective also depends on the human factor. To realize the desired goal, then one way to go is to improve the performance of human resources. This phenomenon is commonly found that the quality of human resource issues received less attention, thus affecting the performance of employees. It can be seen from the level of employee turnover is so high. There are still a lot of leaders who assume that the unemployment rate in Indonesia is so high, so to find the employee will be easier because there are still many in need. This study aims to analyze and examine the effect of compensation and work culture on the performance of employees at PT. Holy Temple Barutama Offset Unit The population used in this study were all employees of the production of PT Pura Barutama Holy Offset Unit of 1169 employees. While the number of samples by 92 employees. The sampling technique in this study is Proporsonal Random Sampling, which is a technique used when the populations have a member / element that is not homogeneous and stratified proportionally. Analysis tools used in this study is the path analysis or path analysis. Prior to the regression test, first performed as well as test the validity and reliability of the classical assumptions. The results of testing the hypothesis suggests that compensation has a significant positive influence on the performance of employees, meaning that if the compensation on the company improved the performance of employees will also increase. This is evidenced by the value t count = 7.701> t table value = 1.9870 and a significance value = 0.004. Influence between the work culture of employee performance is a significant increase in positive. This is evidenced by the value t count is greater than the table t value 3.011> 1.9870. Can be interpreted that the work culture has a significant influence on employee performance in simultaneous testing, compensation and work culture of employee performance together is significant. This is evidenced by the value of F count = 202.839> from the F table = 3.10 .
