Abstract

Penyakit demam berdarah dengue (DBD)disebabkan oleh virus dengue yang dibawa oleh nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan Aedes albopictus. Kota Purwokerto mempunyai incidence rate (IR) rata-rata tahun 2002-2005 berturut-turut 16,78, 24,95, 42,62, dan 32,78. IR tersebut cukup tinggi apabila dibandingkan dengan kecamatan lain di Kabupaten Banyumas. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa program pengendalian vektor belum berhasil dengan baik. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan eksperimen variasi perkawinan nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan Aedes albopictus dari Kota Purwokerto untuk mengetahui perbedaan angka fertilitas dan fekunditas dua spesies nyamuk Aedes tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimental dengan postest only control group design untuk mengetahui angka fertilitas dan fekunditas perkawinan nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan Aedes albopictus. Populasi adalah semua nyamuk hasil penetasan telur yang diperoleh dari pemasangan ovitrap di Kota Purwokerto. Sampel adalah nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan Aedes albopictus hasil penetasan telur yang terdiri dari 60 Aedes aegypti jantan, 60 Aedes aegypti betina,60 Aedes albopictus jantan dan 60 Aedes albopictus betina yang terpilih dari keseluruhan telur yang menetas. Replikasi perkawinan nyamuk menggunakan rumus (r-1)(t-1)>15 dari 4 variasi perkawinan dengan perulangan 6 kali sehingga didapatkan 24 perkawinan. Perkawinan dilakukan dengan perbandingan 5:5 jantan betina. Hasil perkawinan antara nyamuk Aedes aegypti jantan dan betina didapatkan rata-rata angka fertilitas 59,27 dan angka fekunditas 83,89%. Angka fertilitas 39,87 serta angka fekunditas 81,69% didapat dari perkawinan didapat dari perkawinan antara nyamuk Aedes albopictus jantan betina. Perkawinan antara nyamuk Ae.aegypti jantan dengan Ae.albopictus betina menghasilkan fertilitas 2,03 dan tidak menhasilkan angka fekunditas. Perkawinan antara Ae.albopictus jantan dengan Ae.aegypti betina tidak menghasilkan angka fertilitas maupun angka fekunditas. Kata Kunci: perkawinan nyamuk Aedes sp, angka fertilitas, angka fekunditas THE DIFFERENCES FERTILITY AND FECUNDITY OF Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus CROSSMATING IN PURWOKERTO MUNICIPALITY Dengue Haemorragic Fever (DHF) is caused dengue virus brought by Ae.aegypti and Ae.albopictus mosquitos. Incidence rates (IR) in Purwokerto year 2002-2005 were 16,78, 24,95, 42,82 and 32,78. This IR were high enough if it compared to other districts in Banyumas. These conditions indicate that vector control noy succeeded yet all those time. Research conducted by crossmating experiment of Ae.aegypti and Ae.albopictus mosquitos from Purwokerto to know the fertility and fecundity rate of two species of Aedes mosquitos. This research use Quai experimental method with postest only group design to know fertility and fecundity rate of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitos mating. Population of these research is all of the mosquitos eggs hatched that obtained of ovitraps in Purwokerto. Samples are Ae.aegypti and Ae.albopictus of hatch eggs consist of 60 male Ae.aegypti, 60 female Ae.aegypti, 60 male Ae.albopictus and 60 female Ae.albopictus chosen from from overall of eggs hatching. Mating replication of mosquitos used formula (r-1)(t-1)>15 from 4 mating variation with 6 repilcation, 24 mosquitos mating. Mosquitos mating used comparison 5:5 between male and female. Mating variation between male female Ae.aegypti were found fertility rate 59,27 and fecundity rate 83,89%. Fertility rate 81,69% were found by mosquitos mating between male female Ae.albopictus. Mosquitos mating between male Ae. aegypti with female Ae. albopictus were found fertility rate 2,03 and were not found fecundity rate.
