ANALISIS PENGARUH PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI, AGLOMERASI, TINGKAT PENGANGGURAN, DAN PANJANG JALAN TERHADAP KETIMPANGAN ANTAR WILAYAH MENURUT TIPOLOGI KLASSEN PADA 25 KABUPATEN/KOTA DI PROVINSI JAWA BARAT TAHUN 2004-2008

Abstract

Economic Growth in West Java province year by year continually is increased even though it had dropped in 2008. Within four years, the economic growth increased from 4.77 per cent (in 2004) up to 6.04 per cent (in 2007). Increasing of economic growth is followed by the uneven across regions as seen from the Regional Typology criteria. Based on the typology criteria, a total of 14 districts / cities in West Java province entered into left-behind-area criteria. This study aims to analyze the effect on the economic growth, Agglomeration, unemployment rate, and the long road toward imbalance in the region of West Java province in the period 2004 to 2008. This study uses secondary data by using panel data model, analysis fixed effect model. From the results obtained that in the period 2004 to 2008, economic growth, agglomeration, unemployment rates significantly and positively affect against inequality territory, but the length of the road did not significantly influence the region inequality.
