ANALISIS EKSPOR KOPI INDONESIA KE AMERIKA DAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHINYA

Abstract

In Indonesia coffee is one of sub agricultural sector that have a significant share of the third biggest foreign exchange earner after timber and rubber. Coffee export from Indonesia has fluctuation every year. In period 2000-2006 export coffee has increased every year. but begin period year 2006 up to 2008 volume of Indonesia's coffee exports to the U.S. decreased by 22.5% and rose again in 2009 This study aim to analyze the influence of world coffee price, domestic coffee price, rate, income percapita also America coffee consumption towards volume exports Indonesia coffee to America period 1980-2009. The data used are secondary data obtained from the International Coffee Organization (ICO), Statistics of the United States (U.S. Census Bureau, Current Population Survey, Annual Social and Economic Supplements), Statistics Indonesia (BPS). This study used ordinary least squares analysis tools. The results of this study indicate that the domestic coffee price variable, price of world coffee, American coffee consumption significantly influence the volume of Indonesia's coffee exports to the United States
