Which can weared as materials mixture compile tile especially materials fasten him expected to earn to lessen tile density, this matter is caused by coal waste ash which is its compared to lighter mass of clay. Besides upon which mixture for the lightening of tile mass, coal ash also can function as fastener of tile structure, expected can improve closeness of tile structure. This matter is caused by coal ash have very smooth item so that can become filler or filler at tile cavitys which cannot loaded clay at the time of process of tile. Coal ash have smooth item and have the nature of hydraulic like pozzolon. Coal ash have softer item than item cement and have the nature of is hydraulic, hence ash ought to do not simply adding closeness, but also can add its strength. Method the used by mingling clay with coal waste ash with composition 0 %, 5 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 %, 25 % from clay weight, of this mixture then tested by strength, porosity, and comparison of its density. From this research expected can yield strong tile, porosity, light and expected cheaper for the roof of house.
