Abstract
In experimental studies with AF 15 dimensions 50 mm x 100 mm with Reynolds number 110.000 will obtain the pressure coefficient (Cp) and graph Cp. In this simulation using the software FLUENT 6.3.26 using k-epsilon, realizable model and turbulence model near the wall of Non-Equilibrium. The simulation results are used to verify the value of pressure coefficient (Cp) on the experimental results in the form of symmetric graphs are almost similar. There are two results obtained from simulation of rectangular duct 90°. First, it shows the existence of secondary flow caused by the pressure difference between the inner wall and outer wall resulting fluid motion is not only the main flow direction but also the direction transverse to the outer wall toward the inner wall of the cross-flow effect is the phenomenon of vortex on the inner wall. Second, showed no separation occurs because the fluid still has the momentum to resist the pressure gradient.
